October has been packed with exciting updates and events, so let’s dive right in!

Kicking Off Season 5 Updates: Rediscovering Minecraft
This season, we’ve gone back to basics, embracing the true essence of Minecraft with a mostly vanilla approach. We started by keeping things simple, with only Quality of Life (QoL) items in our market. But as the season progressed, we’ve rolled out a range of fantastic new features and updates for everyone to enjoy!
- Set Your Home – All players now have the ability to set a home for convenient travel.
- Claim Plugin Updates – The claim plugin has been upgraded, including an increase in maximum claim chunks! For even more space, the QoL Market offers a Mega upgrade option.
- Teleport Commands – Both TPA (teleport to players) and TPR (random teleport) are now available for everyone.
- Economy & Shops – The economy is up and running! Use /shop to buy items and /sellgui to sell.
- Auction House – Trade items with other players through the Auction House. Open with /ah and list your items using /ahsell.
- Crate Keys – A variety of crate keys are available for purchase in the shop. Visit the Casino's top floor to open your crates, and use /warp for easyCorin Robinson navigation.
- Pyrofishing Pro – Discover new fishing events each time you log in, and sell your fish for in-game currency.
- New Lobby – Check out the revamped lobby and easily select which world to explore.
- Duels – For some PvP excitement, we’ve added Duels to the mini-game server. Challenge your friends!
- New Wiki – Our wiki is now directly available on our website under the Info tab, making it easier than ever to access all the details you need.
- Limited Edition Halloween Items – Exclusive Halloween-themed items are available for a limited time, so be sure to check them out while they last!
Events Galore!
October was full of community events, starting with Halloween arriving on SMP with a spooky new spawn, complete with a pumpkin-finding mini-challenge. Did you find them all? Following chaotic and fun-filled weekend of war, where players spent the week gathering essential resources to prepare. Lastly we had our fall build challenge with many creative fall builds, which build will win?
We are finishing off a huge month with Halloween Island (lead and built by Dachribal) and our Murder Mystery event (lead and built by SucremeLeader). We hope to see you there!
Looking Ahead to November
November is set to bring even more excitement. We’re considering adding seasonal changes to Fading Daze itself, with in-game seasons, weekly calendar events, and Christmas celebrations! Plus, limited-edition Christmas items are on the way, and we’re planning a special annual fundraiser where we’ll donate to a good cause. Finally awesome updates coming to skyblock with new leaderboard, weekly and monthly challenges!
